In the present-day, students in schools across the globe are studying the fundamentals of electricity, validating key principles, and examining living organisms. However, this does not necessarily mean they intend to become professionals in those respective fields. Not all children decide to follow those career paths. These topics are included in the curriculum so that students can understand how the world functions.

Similarly, today's children also need to comprehend the concept of computer algorithms and the functionality of the internet. Despite computers influencing every aspect of work currently, it is unfortunate that most Indian schools do not educate students on the inner workings of computers.

The computer academy teaches students to create websites and web-based programs. While coding is not mandatory, the focus is on learning computer science and technology, which covers a broader range of topics. Computer applications involve more than just technology; they also help develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity.

The first computer was created in 1943, but the foundations of computer science were established earlier in 1843 when the first computer program was written. Computer science encompasses more than just building technology, as it also involves problem-solving through the development of algorithms, as demonstrated by Ada Lovelace's work on algorithms even before computers were invented.

Computer science is now essential for any job in 2024, not just a skill for getting employed. Claiming computer science is not for everyone misses the point, as it is just as crucial as other subjects like math, biology, and physics. We learn these subjects in school not because they are enjoyable, but because they help us better navigate and appreciate the world. Comprehending basic computer science enhances our understanding of the internet, device communications, and the influence of technologies on our lives.
